Senior Graphic Designer

We are building a new casual games website and are looking for someone to make it attractive, fun, and intuitive in a way that will attract a wide audience. Our company has been in the game development business for many years and we have extensive experience in the field. The successful candidate must be able to design to the market that the business is catering to, have an understanding of UX, have experience designing for multiple platforms, and document a design system. This job will start with some extensive work up front, then move to intermittent projects after the initial work is done. This is a work-at-home position with flexible hours.
Duties
Conceptualize and design a comprehensive brand identity, including a logo, color palettes, typography, and visual elements
Create engaging and intuitive designs that will delight our users
Create a UI design guide. Standardize UI elements (buttons, icons, fonts, colors, etc.) and document how to use them
Be able to create reactive designs that work for different platforms (iPad/mobile/desktop)
Work to understand the end user profiles and business goals, always keeping them in mind when designing
Create detailed prototypes; be willing to iterate quickly and incorporate feedback
Optimize existing user interface designs
Experience/Requirements
At least 5 years experience in design, primarily for entertainment-related sites
Strong attention to detail and a critical thinker
Strong proficiency in Adobe suite applications
Excellent communication skills; can explain design concepts and work collaboratively
Have an understanding of UX to inform workflows
Familiarity with Material UI strongly preferred
